Understanding their needs
To make sure we had a full appreciation of their requirements, we maintained close liaison with key stakeholders from the beginning and throughout the project life cycles, via regular calls, Teams meetings and site visits. A dedicated Project Manager was appointed at site to drive and report on progress. We maintained open lines of communication and stayed agile to the needs of the projects. These were the foundations of our success.
Identifying the challenges
The main challenges in the process were:
- Proterra required a specialist partner for niche automation engineering resources.
- They needed a partner to manage the on-site team effectively to meet project objectives.
- Integration with Proterra’s staff on-site was crucial for consulting and resolving challenges.
- Talos needed to collaborate seamlessly with Proterra’s staff to address issues during the project.
