VASS Certified PLC Programmer – Contract – Germany – 3 – 6 months – €45-50

Our Customer based in Europe is actively hiring experienced PLC Programmers with a strong working knowledge of Siemens S7 and previous Automotive Bodyshop experience with VASS standards.

As a leading International turnkey solutions provider they are looking for pro active and flexible engineers with solid VASS V5 experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to an automotive project based in Munich, Germany.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Siemens S7, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;

>Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
>Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
>Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
>Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
>Assisting in the development of new business proposals

To be considered for this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLC and HMI Software and recent on site experience using Siemens S7 and VASS standards.

Previous experience of working such automotive projects with VASS V5 body shop standards is essential as is holding a valid and in date certification in using VASS 5 standards.
The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience.
