Site Manager (Electrical) x 3

Location: Anywhere in Germany.

Direct Hire.

Travel expectation: ~100% across Germany & Europe.

The warehouse automation market is growing exponentially on a global basis, with multiple online businesses having automated warehouses, opening new locations, or upgrading their existing automation. With this continued shift towards most products being available at the ‘click’ of the mouse, our customer is seeking multiple site managers to be based at their customer projects across Europe.

As a site manager, you will be responsible for the installation of electrical systems, primarily PLC control systems for these warehouse installation projects, as well as support the commissioning of these systems. You will also have responsibility for all resource planning and works on-site, including coordinating subcontractors and electricians during the build phases. You will also oversee and plan for the materials, work to deadlines, ensure quality standards are met and more.

Ideally, you will be a state certified technician who has had a hands-on background within the installation of electrical systems, preferably PLC control systems, and have managed teams of people (internal/external) on-site. You can be based anywhere in Germany but expect to travel to customer sites for 4-6 months at a time.

About you:

* Ideally a state certified technician/electrician.
* A hands-on background working on the installation of PLC control systems for multi-million-euro projects.
* Proven background in managing others, preferably electricians and equipment subcontractors.
* A mix of English and German speaking to a conversational level.
* A background within warehouse automation would be beneficial but not essential.

* To recap, you can be located anywhere in Germany.
* You will be expected to be on-site at the customer project for 4-6 months, travelling home at the weekends or you can stay at the customer location for the project duration.
* Company car is provided upon completion of probation.
* Multiple positions available across other disciplines.
