PLC Production Engineer – 2 years – Europe – €50 per hour

Function description
As a PLC Production Engineer you are responsible for the results of automation projects regarding technical execution, lead time and budget control.

* PLC Implementation and commissioning;
* Analysis and assessment of industrial automation project regarding feasibility, technical execution, costs and planning;
* Delivering support to maintenance department during complex breakdowns;
* Define standards, protocols, models and norms regarding industrial automation;
* Define order specifications for PLC oriented projects

As a Production Engineer PLC you report to the supervisor of Central Production Engineering.

Function profile
Our client are looking for these essential qualities:

* Education of industrial engineer with some years of relevant experience in a production environment;
* Experience in programming Siemens S7 and TIA, Profibus and Profinet, also able to interpret electrical drawings;
* Familiar with the principles of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing;
* Fluent in Dutch and English language and are able to easily communicate with internal and external parties;
* Flexible and service oriented, you have strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
