Project Engineer – Contract Preston, Lancashire- £35 – £40hr depending on experience.

Our Customer based in Preston is actively hiring for Project Engineers with working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Control Systems, Testing Commissioning and previous Nuclear experience. As a leading International energy solutions provider, they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a solid Nuclear experience to support, design, construction, testing and commissioning of project phases.

As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for providing project execution services through design, construction, testing and commissioning.

Key Skills for Project Engineers:

Ability to work positively across a multi-disciplined team with a wide range of individuals and groups involved in the project
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the programme management team, senior managers, the project team and third party service providers
Strong leadership and management skills
Understanding of the wider objectives of the programme
Working knowledge of regulator and local government organisations
Credibility within the programme environment and ability to influence others
Working knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
Ability to find innovative ways of solving or pre- empting problems
Working knowledge of planning, risk management, financial and change control processes as deployed on capital projects.

To be considered for the role of Project Engineer you will require a minimum of 2 years working experience operating as an engineer, with working on capital projects, knowledge of IT literate (Word, Excel, MS Project etc.) and minimum requirement HNC Engineering Discipline.

The role of Project Engineer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience.
