PLC / SPS Programmer (Bosch Rexroth) – Contract – Germany – 6+ months – Negotiable Rates

Our Customer based in Germany is actively hiring experienced PLC Programmers with strong working knowledge of Bosch Rexroth Indraworks & IndraLogics and previous Daimler Powertrain experience preferably under Style Guide Version 5 operating standards. As a leading International turnkey solutions provider, they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with solid Automotive Powertrain experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to a Daimler Powertrain project based in Germany.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Bosch Rexroth PLC, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;
> Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems.
> Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports.
> Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff.
> Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors.
> Assisting in the development of new business proposals.

To be considered for the role of PLC Programmer you will have a considerable experience developing and commissioning PLC and HMI Software. Knowledge of Codesys is required and experience programming in KOP / Kontaktplan / Ladder Logic is preferred. Previous experience of working on such automotive powertrain projects with Style Guide version 5 is highly beneficial, but previous experience on Daimler Powertrain projects is essential.

The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience. Visa Sponsorship for this position is not available.
