Rockwell PLC Programmer (Ford) – Contract Michigan, USA 6-12 Months – $60-$64 per hour + Flights

Our Customer based in Michigan, USA is actively hiring experienced PLC Programmers with strong working knowledge of Rockwell PLC Programming and previous Ford NextGen Standards experience. As a leading International turnkey solutions provider, they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a solid Ford NextGen Standards experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to an automotive project based Michigan, USA. Install will take place in various locations depending on project.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Rockwell PLC Programming, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;

> Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
> Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
> Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
> Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
> Assisting in the development of new business proposals

To be considered for the role of PLC Programmer you will require a minimum of 6 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLC and HMI Software and a relevant degree equivalent to a US Bachelors. Previous experience of working such automotive projects with Ford NextGen Standards is highly beneficial.

The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience. Visa Sponsorship for this position is not available.
