On that note, a key client of ours have been busy throughout the pandemic and currently have a large number of proposals, bids and tenders in their pipeline to ensure 2021/22 is going to be a very busy period for them indeed.

As a result of that, they are now seeking a PLC software programmer on a direct hire to join their efforts in the Pacific Northwest. This will include being an expert when it comes to specifying, designing, developing, testing and documenting the software architecture for various PLC software applications. These applications could include motion controllers, robot integration, machine vision systems, metrology, motors, drives etc.

About ‘you’:

* Ideally degree educated in an engineering discipline, preferably with an electrical, software or computer bias.
* A proven background within PLC software design and development.
* A good exposure to programming Siemens/Rockwell/Bosch/Mitsubishi PLC control architectures – in that order of importance. PLC programming, integration, and user interfacing – all that good stuff.
* Prior exposure to robot software integration would be a plus.
* Ability to read an electrical schematic as well as assist with the start up and debug of software systems.
