Mechanical Project Manager – Full Time – Oakland County

Our client is strategically recruiting a Project Manager on a full time basis to support their business growth plans within the automation sector. An international Industrial Engineering company, our client is known for designing and manufacturing machines, process equipment and production lines.

This position as a Project Manager requires strong experience of mechanical engineering within automated equipment . You will be expected to produce mechanical and process concepts for automated machinery going to customers all over the United States.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager may include but not limited to;
> Meeting with clients to define and develop project scope and present company solutions
> Researching and implementing new technology, design methods and ideas
> Managing internal and external mechanical design engineers
> Support cost estimates and assist technical proposals
> Manage schedule requirements to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

To be considered for this full time position as a Project Manager you will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You will have a minimum of 5 years proven experience of machine design, process design of machine cost estimate.

This opportunity as a Project Manager offers a competitive package which is negotiable depending on relevant industry experience. The position will be based mostly in Oakland County with some customer travel as required.
