Lead Engineer – Industrial Process Control Systems & Water/Wastewater – Florida – Permanent

Talos Automation are working closely with our client who specialize within the Industrial Process Control Systems and Wastewater sector. We are looking for a leader with experience working within the Industrial Process Control Systems & Water and Wastewater sector. Similar industry experience from other industries such Oil and Gas could also be considered.

Job Role:

* Fully understand P&ID drawings and Industry Specifications
* Industrial Control Panel design
* SCADA/HMI/PLC Hardware
* Knowledge of industrial control networks, i.e.. Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, etc.
* HMI Programming – Factory Talk, WinCC, Maple Systems, EZ Touch
* PLC Programming using ladder logic and/or function block – Experience with one or more of the following: Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, GE. Emerson Micro PLC Hardware and programming experience a plus.
* Experience in one or more of the following SCADA software such as: VT Scada, Ignition, Wonderware, iFIX, WinCC, FactoryTalk View, GE Complicity, Citect

Essential Skills/Qualifications

* BSEE or BS Computer Science or Electrical/Controls Technologist or Comparable Experience
* 7 – 15 year’s experience in Instrumentation & Controls
* Experience leading teams up to 6-7 engineers.
* This is a leadership position, the successful applicant needs to be technically strong and understand what is required to work as a Process Controls Engineer, however the main function of the position is to manage and lead a team, supervise, support and be available to offer advise where required.
* Travel is expected in the position and calculated over a 260 day period (Mon-Friday). Although its unlikely that there will be more than a maximum of 30% travel, applicants are expected to be flexible when travel is required (within Florida and wider USA).
* Following a successful probation period, hybrid working will be available.

* Compensation $40.00-$54.00ph – flexibility for the right applicant
