Ford PLC Programmer – Contract – USA – 3 months – $60-65

Our Customer based in the USA is actively hiring experienced PLC Programmers with strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 and previous Ford Automotive Standards experience.

As a leading International turnkey solutions provider they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a solid background using Ford Next gen standards experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to an automotive project based in Kentucky, USA.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 PLC, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;

> Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
> Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
> Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
> Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
> Assisting in the development of new business proposals

To be considered for the role of Ford PLC Programmer you will require a minimum of 5 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLC and HMI Software and a relevant degree equivalent to a US Bachelors. Previous experience of working such automotive projects with Ford Next Gen Standards is essential.

The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience.
