Daimler PLC Programmer – Contract – Europe – €45-55 Depending on Experience

Our Customer based in Europe are regularly looking to hire experienced PLC Programmers with strong working knowledge of Siemens Step 7 and/or Siemens Tia Portal PLC software and previous Integra wave 5 or 6 experience. As a leading International turnkey solutions provider they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a solid background in Daimler projects to support, installation and commissioning activities to an automotive project based in Europe.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Siemens PLC Software, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;

> Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
> Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
> Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
> Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
> Assisting in the development of new business proposals

To be considered for the role of PLC Programmer you will require a minimum of 6 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLC and HMI Software and a relevant degree equivalent to a US Bachelors. Previous experience of working such automotive projects with Integra wave 5 and/or 6 is highly beneficial.

The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience. Visa Sponsorship for this position is not available.
