Controls / PLC Engineer Up to £50,000 per annum

Imagine working for a company that’s been established for over 35 years, are forward thinking and innovative with a feeling of being part of a family rather than just a number?
Based just outside of Harlow in Essex, close to the River Strout and easily accessible via train and car, my client ticks all the above boxes.

They’re specialists in the design, manufacturing and integration of bespoke, special purpose machinery that range from small assembly machines through to complete turnkey projects.

Although they predominantly work in the automotive and pharmaceutical arenas, they do work across all sectors, particularly within research and development projects.

Your involvement as the Controls / PLC Engineer would be project focused through and through. You’d be involved from the project start and design, all the way through to implementation.

Due to this, coming from a project focused background would give you a definite advantage.

You’d be designing control systems and alike in the following:

– Siemens TIA Portal
– Siemens S7 (1200)
– Mitsubishi PLC’s
– Omron (experience beneficial but not a must)

Coming ideally from an automation equipment focused position, it would also be desirable to be familiar with 1D and 2D bar coding etc.

You’ll be working on a permanent basis, Monday Friday, with a salary on offer of between £30,000 – £50,000.

They’re willing to consider a strong junior, mid-level or even senior engineer for this position.

You must be eligible to both live and work in the UK. Unfortunately, the company in question wouldn’t be able to offer sponsorship.

To apply, please email your CV to jroberts @ talosautomation . com
