Overview:

As a Controls Engineer of a highly motivated, dynamic, multi-disciplined team, you will design and develop world-class aftermarket automation solutions. Duties involve contributing to retrofit/upgrading machine concepts, design of control software, integration of software with electrical and mechanical systems, process development and machine installation at customer sites worldwide. Programming and integration assignments involve leading-edge technologies and processes utilizing PLC’s, PC’s, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, laser, and other controllers. In addition, programming assignments may involve PC computers, and various third-party test instruments or data acquisition devices separately or in combination.

Responsibilities will include:

* Develop architecture of controls system (including large, multi-machine systems)
* Programming of PLC, HMI, and Robots
* Contribute with your fellow engineers to improve standards and processes.
* Perform field service work as required for installation, modification, and service of systems.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required to different clients facilities across the UK / Ireland to assist in machine re-commissioning at customer sites.

Qualifications:

* Preferred college degree in electrical engineering, engineering related field or equivalent experience.
* Six (6) years of automation experience.
* Proficiency in Allen Bradley / Siemens PLC’s, HMI’s Servo Control.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, & Excel.
* Ability to read, speak, write, & understand English in a professional manner.
