Controls Engineer (FCA) – Michigan, USA – Permanent – $Negotiable on Experience

Talos’ USA client is actively recruiting for an experienced PLC Programmer with strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC and previous FCA Standard experience to join them on a Permanent basis. As a leading International solutions provider, they are looking for proactive and flexible engineers with a solid FCA Standard experience to support, installation and commissioning activities to automotive projects based in Michigan, USA.

As a PLC Programmer you will be responsible for providing PLC and HMI software development, commissioning and support activities to a leading automotive manufacturing site. Predominately using Allen Bradley PLC Programming, you will work in a cross functional team developing and debugging equipment to achieve uptime and machine cycle times.

Responsibilities of a PLC Programmer include;

* Designing and developing PLC & HMI Software for new control systems
* Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
* Working collaboratively with electrical engineers, process engineers and other staff
* Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
* Assisting in the development of new business proposals

To be considered for the role of PLC Programmer you will require a minimum of 4 years working experience of development and commissioning of PLC and HMI Software. Previous experience of working such automotive projects with FCA Standard is highly beneficial.

The role of PLC Programmer offers a competitive annual salary, negotiable depending on previous relevant experience.
